What's your soap for today?

I used "Vanderspice". I bought several fragrance oils from a soap making supply company. I melt down the VDH and add whatever fragrance I am in the mood for. If I really like the fragrance I'll make 5 oz at a time. I don't think I'll make this size anymore though as it takes 5-6 months to use up. I use VDH because I like it better than the others I've tried. My wife is getting into soap making, so I'll probably make some from scratch after I learn which ingredients give the soap the properties I want. Sorry, this answer was way tooo long.....

I made myself a mixture of Van Der Hagen & Williams. I made it about 4 months ago. I think it might last until about 2525 ! I don't use it every day, but I do use it a couple of times a week.

Because I am using my Birth Year 1951 W-2 Gillette Super Speed DE. for the entire month. I will be using my Williams Shaving Mug Soap. My Dad always used Williams Shaving Soap.

My first try with Arko Stick. I have it loaded in a twist-up dispenser from WCS. Applied straight to my wet face and lathered with my Proraso/Omega Boar Bristle Chrome Handle brush. Lathered beautifully and gave enough lather for a close, comfortable shave. As for the nay sayers on the scent, my wife and I only reply it smells like a manly soap, not a turd.... so good enough.
