Whats your most complemented fall/winter frag?

I've found a frag for everyday use in the fall and winter when I want to smell nice, but what's a frag that I can use on special occasions that people around me enjoy? One that generates a some complements and is a younger smelling frag (but no aquatics!).

I'm thinking along the lines of a wood and/or leather scent.

If you're solely looking for complements and crowd pleasers, you should get compliments on these:

Dior Homme Intense
Amouage Jubilation XXV
Burberry London

That doesn't necessarily mean you will like them though.

I love love love Burberry London.
When I bought my first bottle lo those many years ago you couldn't get it in my humble town.
I got a few compliments on it then.

I just saw a bottle at a discount store for about $30. Maybe I should pick it up (despite the fact that I have some already).

I'm sure there are more, but none have given me the response that London has.

My favorite Fall fragrances include PG Coze, DC 1913, Creed Windsor and Dior Leather Oud. The two that draw the most compliments are both made by Montale; Full Incense and Patchouli Leaves. While it is rare for anyone to comment on what I'm wearing, Patchouli Leaves is the exception. It seems to get compliments every time I wear it. Fragrances are my primary AD, and this results in any particular scent being used once or twice in a month at the most. It seems I've had as many comments on Patchouli Leaves as all my other fragrances combined.

This must be a record. 10+ posts on a "compliments" thread and no one has mentioned Aventus. Had to ruin it didn't I? In terms of nothing but compliments, this one takes the throne for me. Nothing else has even come close.

Clearly you folks are doing something right. I rarely, if ever, get any compliments from my current rotation of Creed GIT, Creed SMW, Chanel Platinum Egoiste, Lalique Encre Noir, and Mugler A Men. And I've tried Burberry London, Brit, and a host of others.
