What's your go to soap when trying a new razor?

Palmolive or Cade because I can always get a good lather from either of those soaps.

Tabac or Razorock Lavender for good protection.(any soap your like and known lather qualities.)

I can't say that I have one because my first shave isn't the one that will form my opinion. It takes a bit to get a handle on how the new razor performs and I'll use a few different soaps over that period... I'll let you know around shaves 4 or 5.

I would have to go with MWF. It just offers excellent slickness and protection as far as I am concerned.
