What's new

What's your favorite product sets?

What are your top 7 product ranges? It has to be one scent for all the products (pre shave, if you use it; soap/cream; after shave; cologne - ALL by the same manufacturer!)
I currently use the GFT Sandalwood. The Skin Food for pre/post shave (that's great), and the cream (which is rather disappointing, scent wise). I have the marlborough soap on its way, and if it's to my liking, I'll collect the set. I'm looking for 7 sets - one for each shaving day (a bit crazy, I know, but go with it).
What's your favorites?

Musgo Real -- strongly scented. You don't need a cologne if you use the AS. The cream is very slick and protective.

TOBS Shaving Shop -- I have the cream, AS, Cologne and shampoo. Wife complains that using both the AS and cologne are overkill. The shampoo isn't really a great performer, but it smells nice.

DR Harris Arlington -- Always great in the summer and the cologne and AS work well together and aren't too heavy.

DR Harris Marlborough -- great for cooler weather.

Provence Sante Verlaine -- great soap and AS combo.

RazoRock XXX paired with Boticario de Havana -- the BdH is a cologne, so I will use a light AS (Lucky Tiger) so it doesn't interfere. The BdH and XXX were made for each other.

Proraso -- the products don't match exactly, but each stage is a joy. I have the pre-shave cream, shave cream, and AS.

I'm still working through some products in my den that I haven't tried yet, but am very much looking forward to when their turn comes up (QCS Juniper, GR Black Ice, Windsor, Tabac, and La Toja). So, the above is a partial list.

I don't have too many sets, although I was convinced at one point that this was the only way to go(my stance on that has changed since), but I like

Sir Irisch Moos
Proraso
DRH Marlborough
Speick

My favorite would be SCS Oakmoss and Lavender. A nice fougere with splendid performance all the way around.

Vintage Williams soap followed up by Aqua Velva after shave.

Vintage Old Spice soap, followed up by vintage Old Spice after shave followed up by vintage Old Spice cologne.

Not too many full sets, but:

1. Proraso - Pre/post, creme, AS, ASB.
2. DRH Windsor - Soap and Creme, AS, EdT.

I give the edge on scent to Windsor, however overall, I do not believe it can match Proraso. Even when I use Windsor, I still wind up using the pre/post to prep. I have not used anything that tops the performance of the Proraso aftershaves (as and asb). I prefer the scent of Floid Blue over the Proraso AS lotion, but I would not say that it exceeds Proraso AS in performance...I would list them as equally capable as's
