Well I did some roasting a couple days ago, but ran out of energy to make a post. The photos are in my gallery waiting... anyway, I had the decaf Ethiopia natural that I just roasted while shaving in the dark. I am now having about a half a cup of some "basic" Kenya, boringly amazing as usual. The other half is in my thermos, but probably won't be going with me when I leave, if you know what I mean!

PT’s Flatlander blend today in the V60. Promising, but I still need to nail down the grind size on it, I think.
Organic Colombian , ground coarse in Turkish grinder , phin brewed , touch of sweetened condensed milk , 2 Moos half & half ..... perfect for a 29F morning .
That might get tough. If you’re paying less that $60 for a lb than you’re not getting the good beans. Last I saw about 80% of the grade 1 beans go directly from Jamaica to Japan which doesn’t leave a lot for the rest of us.

Went through my local McDonalds and got a small black coffee on my way home. It was pretty darn good.

I found out yesterday afternoon my friend John passed away. I spoke with him about a week ago. I guess I've known him about 20 years. Rest in peace, John.
