Used my EJ badger, my first brush, for the first time in a while. When I first bought my APShaveCo synthetic, I didn't like it; it didn't "feel" right. But earlier this year I started using it regularly and now prefer it. The badger works fine, but it is smaller and more floppy than the synthetic, and not as soft. Nor does it work up a lather as easily. The same is true for the Semogue boar brush.
Obvious stuff, I know. Perhaps I should put the badger and the boar away for a time, and bring them out again early next year.
