When I first joined B&B ten years ago, when I started using a DE safety razor, Simpson, Rooney, Shavemac, & Vulfix seemed to be the big names that everybody had or wanted. Nowadays the variety of makers and options has really expanded, especially with the proliferation of synthetic brushes. Just an observation as I scroll through the pictures of different brands and models of brushes. One thing that hasn’t changed, Omega and Semogue still rule the boar roost.

So true. What has surprised me is the tremendous number of new brush makers and variety of brushes we can choose from today.
