what's this for?

I bought a kit while back.
What are the tubes for? I assume one if for a shave stick... the other? What a shave brush? The bristle brush what's that for for... too stuff for a hair brush. Is if for dusting off a jacket?
What's the bit that looks like a bottle opener. Really a bottle opener in a shaving kit?
There is an aluminum handled UK tech that came with it too.
I'm not sure what I needed this kit for but... too cool to pass up at the time. Maybe I'll use a couple of the items and put the rest in the closet.

Perhaps the stiff bristle brush is for shoes?

Handsome travel grooming kit. The stiff brush would be for brushing off suit jacket and pants, a bottle opener for opening your grape Nehi, and your guess is as good as mine on the cylinders. Maybe talc and deodorant?

Very nice kit. And to confirm about the brush...it is indeed a brush for your jacket. I can understand wanting to use these items but personally I would leave it as is. Great find!

It's interesting, most of the small pieces say "Sheffield" on them, a name I associated with knives not fingernail files.
The whole kit seems mostly unused and judging from the ad and confirming with the tech razor I'd have to say it is certainly '60s vintage and English. The tubes are chrome over Bakelite and as there is nothing to cover the holes in them I'll have to rule out talc. The soap and toothbrush tube both have holes in them for drying so... I'm going with shave brush and stick soap.
Still not sure what I'm going to do with it... hmmm go crazy and start a shave museum?
