What's the most bizarre thing you've eaten?

Cow intestine, not very good btw. Squid tentacles, ok but weird. Briefly considered trying sparrow while in Japan, but I couldn't bring myself to eat them bones and all.

Jellyfish. Was pretty tasteless and nondescript.
Not adventurous enough for insects, whole birds or even snails.

I can't stand most offal on it's own but haggis is pretty damn tasty.

You gotta love British meats, when i was in London this past April I had Wild Boar and Venison on a sandwich, so good. Always wanted to try Haggis.

My mother in-law's chicken.

Awesome!

I would have to put my Mother-in-laws cooking up there for worst food.

For strangest I have a few. Deep fried mountain oysters. I suspect they may have been goat. Not sure. At three different Mexican restaurants I have had tacos made with one each of the following. Cow tongue, cheeks and head. At a Japanese place I had some sushi and I think one had raw octopus.. which wasn't bad at all.

The two first things are quite normal in Spain. Cow intestine, if properly prepaired can be delicious (stewed with lots of sweet paprika), and Squid tentacles, well I cook the squid whole and I eat the whole thing (without the ink, unless recipe calls for it).

Rattlesnake, alligator, raccoon jerky, ground hog, ostrich, was going to try beaver but couldn't retrieve it after I shot it.

Sviðasulta, Icelandic head cheese made from a sheeps head. I passed on the Hákarl, which is basking shark that's been aloud to rot for 6 months to make it non poisonous.

A lot of the stuff listed above isn't so bizarre to me. I love menudo, for instance. And sushi... octopus is great sushi or sashimi. Alligator? Of course. I will add iguana... quite delicious stewed with a recado sauce. Fried grubs. Nutria. You gotta admit crabs are pretty bizzarre... scuttling around on all those legs and all. But i love them, regular or softshell. I have eaten a balut on a drunken dare and I have to say that is not something a human should ever have to eat, dare, or not, drunk or sober. I was given some kidney pie once and I almost barfed when I was told what it was, and I hadn't even taken a bite yet. Kidneys are for peeing with, not for eating. But the most bizzarre thing I have ever consumed was my ex wife's biscuits. They were nearly the consistency of superballs. After two attempts I told her I was okay with that, and if I wanted biscuits, I would make them myself.
