What's new

What's the longest time you've had to wait for an order to arrive?

Same here, 14 days today and still waiting for a $3 brush and a few other odd and ends. Seems like forever but mine is making the trip from halfway across the globe.

Anything from overseas, needs to clear Customs and most orders take 2-5 weeks, depending on the Shipping Season like Christmas or Summer Holiday in Europe. Some overseas Vendors offer Express, usually a buck or two more, and most times orders arrive 7-10 Business Days.

My longest wait was 4 months, I had placed an order last October with a Vendor in Spain. When I hadn't received it by the first week of December, I figured the package was lost or pilfered. The end of January I received an e-mail from the Vendor stating the package had been returned to him for an unknown reason and arrangements were made for re-shipment, I had Christmas in February.

I've been waiting on a "pure" castile soap order from Spain since 05/13. I ordered some flashlights from China at the same time and got the flashlights about 10 days ago. I sent the Spanish vendor an email last week asking if they had shipped, and if they had shipped, when. No response yet from the vendor. I guess I need to send a nasty gram.

If I were you, and its been a week since the last one, I would send a polite email. If it hasn't been a week, I don't think you have really given them sufficient time to respond if its a small operation. I find being polite will get you much further than being rude. Be that vendors, strangers, or the DMV

Waiting for an order from Vintage Scent ordered on May 24th finally shipped today June 4th. ( 11 days ) Probably won't see it for another 2 weeks. Glad I have gotten more patient as I got older.

My wallet cries.
It's been stated already, but yes, anything from the other side of the world (I'm from Canada), so like CHina, Phillipines, usually takes a month to get here. It gets a little nerve wracking sometimes because of paypals 45 day to dispute policy, not sure if it simply is taking it's sweet time, or it got lost, or it was never sent. So you just gotta keep up good communication with the seller, and make the call to dispute or not.

It was last year, during the canada post lockout. I waited 3 month for a package from Vermont....

First order from BestShave in Turkey took 6 weeks, don't blame BestShave, blame U.S. Customs. Every order since, 2 weeks, must have my name on a list or something.

What did you order? I ordered a couple brushes, a stand, and some 444, and it STILL shows as 'processing' in my order status.

I ordered on 24th as well, and went to Canada for a week in the interim. Was hoping package may be here upon return, but now I wonder if it even shipped....

Ordered a few brushes and soap.

Wow.

I am still waiting for my Irish Moos from the group buy of 2009.

14 days on an order from VintageScent...the key to overseas ordering, IMO, is to order a few things from a US based company so you have something else coming. That way you forget about the original order and it somewhat becomes a surprise when it arrives. It's like you've now purchased it twice. WIN WIN!
