Water is ok I guess, I've never had any issue lathering anything. It's that 'soap film' leftover from getting between the open teeth, it drives me nuts. I'll go buy me a cheapie toothbrush

Yeah, you have hard water. Where I live the water is very very hard. I get that white film within a few days. I installed a water softener... no more film. And an unexpected bonus, my products lather like magic now! Hehe

I have well water and a water softner and 3 inline filters 4 if we drink out of the tap. I have never cleaned my razor but noticed its getting really really bad. I might get some scrubbing bubbles and take an old toothbrush to it.
