What's the best strop for stainless?

As above. I know stainless has different properties to carbon steel so is there a type of leather more suited to stainless blades?

Hi,
It's my understanding that ss razors are usually fairly stiff, at least my friodurs are. I much prefer a more pliable strop for stiffer razors and conversely a stiffer strop for more flexible ones. This is akin to how your face conforms to a stiff razor while shaving while a thin razor conforms to your face only with a strop.

Best,

Hi Red, what kind of strop do you consider more, "pliable" ?

Hi,
I would consider my
Tony Miller "Honey Brown" strop very pliable especially when compared to my vintage Sanitary Select strop which is much thicker and is so stiff you cannot roll it up. I'm sorry but I think he discontinued the honey brown a year or so ago and I really don't have another that I can recommend. You might check out the Jemico strops from Germany though, the one example I saw was very thin, soft and yes pliable.
