Well things are going better. Too bad they lost today, though.
I just don't think they have the starting pitching to go very far. After Cole, the others are hit and miss and then you have to rely on their strong bullpen. Kluber is past his prime, Montgomery shows promise but is not yet proven. Maybe German will return to his 2019 form. And the jury is still out on how Severino will bounce back when he returns.
If they manage to make the post season, I just see the usual results: they might survive the first round, then as they progress their chances of winning go down quickly.
