As expected, yesterday the Government announced it would reintroduce "Heightened Alert" status from tomorrow until 18 August (I am not sure why a Wednesday but hey ho). Basically dining-in is not allowed so we snagged a table at, of course, Bar A Thym for 18.30 tonight. I feel bad for the guys in F&B so we'll be getting deliveries in as well as cooking a bit more over the next few weeks. What fun.

when plated i put kosher salt on and Melinda's Garlic Habenero Sauce.

a little bit of lard was added into recipe because everything included was very lean.

this whole bag had to have weighed 5 lbs......heavy

the bag covered 3/4 of the regular sized grill (reference.)

We always called this a poorboy growing up and it was a staple when we were camping out. Now we do this with smoked sausage and add cabbage too.....

As the pandemic surges again and restaurants are requesting masks again, dining out is just not fun. We usually go out for Tex-Mex on Sundays but instead stayed home and had crab cakes, coleslaw, and corn on the cob.
