Dinner last night was pasta with sauteed onion, peppers, fresh garlic, and sausage with tomato-basil sauce and topped with some shredded Parmesan cheese. Some lightly toasted and buttered baguette topped with Parmesan and Italian herbs finished off the plate.
I did not have any Italian wine on hand so I went with a glass of 2015 Pat Paulsen Winemaker's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.
