Traditional here (we're that kind of people)....turkey in the oven, mash potato, cranberry, jams, green beans, home made bread, plenty of Irish whiskey, "Irish Death" beer (my wife is Irish!), and good company.

Traditional-ish: turkey basted with red wine and butter; dressing loaded with fresh sage and toasted pecans; roasted mix of potatoes, sweet potatoes, fennel bulbs, and leeks; green beans tossed in garlic infused olive oil, grated Parm, and torn up baguette; orange rind and cranberry relish; fake giblet gravy of butter and flour roux, vegetable broth, shallots, shiitakes, sun dried tomato paste, and Sherry; two great bottles of Pinot Noir (Domaine Drouhin and Patricia Green); and pumpkin pie with creme fraiche.

Mashed Yam and Sweet Potato with Onion
Steamed Broccoli with Butter, Garlic and Caraway
A selection of wines and ales.

Brats on the grill, curly fries, cottage cheese
Dinner wasn't at home last night: the old dependable Bar A Thym instead. I had the usual rack of NZ Te Mana lamb, Mrs. P had grilled sea bream, and for dessert, the Rhum Baba. Basically a doughnut floating in a pint of white rum.
