preferably something not to pricey i dont realy care about the smell i just care what it does for the skin right now im using afta by mennen i always wanted to try the skinfood but i dont think i could ever get my self to pay that kind of money for a aftershave
it's such a personal thing in terms of scent. there are so many good perfomers out there that scent really does distinguish them. your best best is to find some samples from places like Garry's Sample Shop or The Shave Den. Both give small inexpensive samples. In warm weather, I like splashes like clubman, booster polar ice and osage rub. But I apply these on top of some sunblock which also provides moisturizing.
Lucky Tiger After Shave/Face Tonic
Booster
Murray & Lanman Florida Water - this is actually labeled as cologne but I find it more of an after shave splash. Inexpensive to try and if you like it Amazon has a dozen bottles for $40 shipped.
+1 on Speick. Scent took awhile to grow on me but the performance is outstanding. Proraso splash has a better scent, IMHO, but is slightly and i do mean very slightly behind Speick in performance. As always YMMV. Both are reasonably priced to boot.
proraso aftershave is nice, I use it sparingly. I get it at bigelows here in nyc but they have an online store. or west coast shaving. I use that but mainly adidas aftershave line of scents. Has menthol and similar ingredients to my proraso. and it's cheaper. i switched from aqua velva. I also use moisturier after every shave. jack black. love that stuff
I have not tried Speick yet because it's always out of stock when I get my order up to $80. (ffree shipping mark)
But there is already enough votes for it.... so
Floid Blue is the best, but high.
Proraso is great and affordable.
Musgo Real is great, but not in hot humid weather.
I'd go with Proraso for affordable and in hot weather.
