I am somewhat new to DE shaving. Currently using a Rockwell 6c but I'd like to try a vintage razor. What do you recommend?

Started with a plate 3 but I am going to bump it to 4 soon.
Prewar tech with triangle slots, or go for a slim adjustable.

Gillette Tech and Superspeed are good starters. The Gillette New is also a great choice.
Hard to go wrong with any of these!
Super Speed is a great place to start. Classic razor for a reason, they sold millions so easy to find, too.
Any of the Gillette adjustables and start on a low setting.
My vote is for a NEW Short Comb.

Gillette Tech is tough to beat.
the NEW SC is nicely made and is a smooth shaver. Techs are fine too but the NEW is the high point of Gillette's history in my opinion. Some guys like the TTOs but they just never gave me as good a shave as the 3-piece razors.

I find myself bouncing between the three razors a lot these days. They are new to me this last month, but they are all great shavers and I really enjoy each of them. The Slim is the heaviest though, so if you are coming from the Rockwell you might find the Techs and News a little light. I know I did compared to me Merkur 34C.

Are those Techs the ones with the fat handles? I have so far been able to resist the urge to buy one, but they look so cool!

Gillette Tech or Super speed. Then maybe a Schick Krona and then you have the Gillette Adjustables, Fatboy, Slim and Black Beauty. Look out RAD will kick in.
