Vintage Colgate Shaving Cream From a Can-Aloe.
Castle Forbes 1445. From a sample. I thought I got a ”little” too cavalier while shaving and was thinking I’ll pay for this.
Finally rinsing off, hmmm smooth, no discomfort. Nice.

Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet
Not sure it actually counts as a cream but my Daughter gave me some Bodyshop Aloe and Maca root shaving gel yesterday.
So thought I'd give it a go this morning.
Bearing in mind I'm fairly new to all this stuff, and I decided to whip it up in a soup bowl with a Bodyshop brush as I don't have a shaving bowl. It made what I'd describe as a froth not really a lather which went on ok, then started to disappear pretty quickly.
This was the fastest DE shave I've had so far 34c and a new Astra blade and two passes in about two mins if that!
In saying this I have a really smooth face and absolutely no irritation at all, I used no Alum or aftershave balms just cold water and dried my face.
Despite trying hard to hate it, my face is so good I keep touching it.
