A tube of Palmolive Cream delivered today. I wasn't sure how much to use, so I used 2 dabs of about a pea size each. It lathered up to make enough for 2 days' worth of shaves.
While it's not Cremogena, it does lather up as quickly and is nearly as slick and cushiony. Well worth buying.

I got bored last night and mixed two of my cheaper creams together to fill out a tub I'd put one of them in. I mixed Arko Sensitive and something called "Man's Stuff by Technic". At first I was worried because both of the creams are quite thin, and technic seemed watery. To my surprise though, when I tried it this morning, the resulting cream was far thicker than its constituent parts, and resulted in an amazingly slick protective lather.
So today I used an Arko Sensitive + Technic Frankencream. Here's what the Technic one looks like, I got it in a gift set and haven't seen any mention of it on here.
