What to include - Straight infographic/poster

I'm thinking about letterpress printing a straight razor poster.

As of yet, I'm thinking of including blade profiles and grind profiles.

There's not room for a whole lot more, but I'm wondering what else you guys think I should include.

Depends, what are you planning on using the poster for? Maybe how to hone, or strop. Or different parts of the razor (tang, spine etc...)

Blade shapes, grinds. Then you can branch off and do tang and tail shapes over the ages.

why letterpress rather than getting a poster printed at Costco?

And there is some amazing photo art scattered around this forum.

Find one and ask the contributor for a high res file.

Just my suggestion.

I'm not quite sure if you're joking or not.

No, seriously, are you a printer and planning to do a pressed, embossed poster?
Like this example...

Forgive me for semantics, but, yes, I will be printing a letterpress poster (which features depressed printing areas). This is as opposed to embossing, which is raised (inked or uninked)

I think razor styles by region might work--barbers notch wedge for Sheffield, French point for (you guessed it) France. Square or round point for solingen. Kamisori for japan. Or maybe show classic or representative brands for different countries--"straight razors from around the world"

If you have a SWMBO, make sure you put prices next to the razors so she'll let you buy more stuff in the future. I recommend the following:

Wade & Butcher 10/8 - Average price: $3.00
Filarmonica 14 - Average price: $2.00
Custom razors (sold in pairs) - Average price: $5.00 per pair
