what supplements & vitamins do you take?

I've taken a multivitamin for more than 30 years now. About 20 years ago I added fiber. I take that with my cholesterol and blood pressure meds.
Off the top of my head I think black seed oil helps to lower cholesterol

I used to take supplements...

 until one day I noticed something odd looking in a stool (before flushing it away). On closer inspection it was a pristine (with the exception of a light brown coating) multivitamin tablet.

Since that day I've never taken another supplement. My health is just as good as ever.

I also refuse to take drugs/medicines. I intend to remain healthy. YMMV :wink2:
Too much info, did make me laugh though @Cal lol 😂😂😂

No drugs or medicine ok
I hope you don’t believe in hospital either. Come to think of it if you never get diagnosed with something you don’t have it 😂
My neighbor is a homeopath
I stay clear of him after he tried to sell me magic pyramids.

Whats the knock off called? I know centrum cost a bit more then the average multivitamins as far as I can remember
Look like the brand is, "Equate".

Life Extension "two per day" multi. But I take like one per week.

I actually got it for my wife because it's one of the few that has the non folic acid form of Folate. Some people don't tolerate folic acid very well but the FDA decided it would benefit the greater majority if it's put in everything.

Yup. Ive taken Omega 3 and Flaxseed oil.
What’s apple cider vinegar abd black seed oil for?
Type them in YouTube, rates really highly too

If you get apple cider vinegar be warned it's got a strong smell and taste, make sure you use a straw when you have it diluted with water as it could damage ypur teeth apparently

Black seed oil also has a unique very strong smell and taste

It's like they say itsthemeds that taste bad that seem to work, Ive found that seems to be true YMMV

You can just use vinegar on your salad. Works well and improves the digestion for food you eat later in the meal.

Thanks I'll have a look at it

I did try my fitness pal app before but couldn't be consistent

Yea I know someone personally who has the B12 injection and she complains about the pain on the arm she gets injected in for a few days

Most people eat similar things from day-to-day, so you don't have to log all the time, just check yourself by doing a few days worth and see how it looks as far as the nutrition you are getting.

On the B12 injection, you can get it in the buttock. I started searching the internet for a photo and was surprised to discover there is actually a porn fetish related to this, who knew? I had to close the window and back away.

Most supplements just make expensive urine. Having said that I take 1000UI vitamin D every morning and double the dose in winter. I also take magnesium supplements. Between my age and taking a prescription diuretic my serum levels are below normal.

I have been extremely happy with New Chapter products. They grow all the vegetables used in their vitamins on a farm in Cosa Rica.

I first found them when I had two torn Achilles tendons. As some of you know, I have some significant back issues and I used to use an inversion table. I'd hang upside down for around half an hour every day after work... stomach crunches etc. Anyway, I ended up with torn Achilles tendons in both legs. I went to the doctor and he said, well, surgeries don't often go well so I'd try to find another way to heal.

I was popping aspirin and other assorted over-the-counter pain meds just to be able to continue working. I was in construction at the time. This went on for almost 2 years. Finally, I went to a health food store and asked them if they had anything that might promote healing. They suggested a New Chapter product that reduced swelling and could assist the body's recovery process: Zyflamend. It's just a combination of herbs, mostly... turmeric, ginger, rosemary and a bunch of other plants. It took a few months, but both healed up nicely.

Their products are now available on Amazon. They are all designed to be absorbed by the body, not just making your urine that nice yellow color. <eg>

My wife and I both take a few of their products. We find our brains work better when we do. Multiple, B complex, calcium, etc. If you feel so inclined, check them out.

So you got the Achilles’ tendon tears from hanging on a inversion table?
