That's a beauty! I take those thin scales to be ivory. I have that same razor and it is a favorite.
Thank you, 'tis. The pivot pin was replaced hence the washer at that end. It is so light and delicate compared to my other razors that I seem to pay closer attention when using it and get outstanding shaves as a reward.

This showed up today direct from Germany. I ordered a round point, but a French point showed up instead, you know what…I ain’t even mad. 4 pass irritation free shave. Ol’ Ralf can put an edge on a blade.

Two excellent passes with the gorgeous Drakkar. The highlight of the R41 cleanup was not bleeding. Now I can ignore it for a few more years.

Razor GD 208 on a pasted balsa edge
Awesome shave with this cheap razor. The edge was very smooth and comfortable yet crisply sharp. Love the edge but not the scale...hahaha. 3.5passes for a satisfactory bbs/dfs/ccs finish without any issues.

I had a GD 208 (because it had the @Slash McCoy seal of approval on the face). It took a wicked edge off diamond pasted balsa strops. What I didn't like about shaving with it was that I found it to blade heavy due to the lightweight ABS plastic scales. I soon gave it away to a poor Filipino.
First serveral shaves said nice but prefer hollow grind,,, like razor but was not super thrilled shave
Now shes has grown on me and i love her, near wedge bliss,, took few shaves to love her,,,,,,

How do you like the Razorock 400 SE?
They are so cool looking! I bought one, but I still can't get into the whole synthetic thing, and the brush is heavy. Mine weights 4.66 oz. I really want to like it!
