I tried Colonel Conc's Bayrum and was disappointed, plus I don't like almond odours so I had low hopes for this shave. Turned out great, the soap isn't as good as others but is was an OK shave.

For shame, flaunting that razor in front of us have-nots!
It’s a good one. I can’t seem to put it down this week. It has an interesting grind; heavy at the top and very thin near the edge. It makes a sweet sound and cuts like a dream.

It’s still in pretty good shape. A bit of patina and a slight taper towards the toe but no big deal. It doesn’t effect effect the performance. The edge is dead straight with even bevels both sides. It was very simple to hone this one. The scales are in perfect condition and the pin is tight and closes dead centre. I don’t normally like plastic scales but these are pretty cool. Slightly translucent and reflective. I’ve bought from this individual before and I think it was a fair price. He’s really cutting down his collection at the moment.

No shame at all, just rubbing it in...
