First off, a great shave from the Jernbolaget. I love this blade shape and, if course, the heavier grind of the period. I really enjoyed using this razor despite the extremely light weight of the scales (I've been told they are original micarta). It was wonderfully sharp, though the edge off the les latenuses seemed "toothy" against my face. Moreso than the two Sheffield blades I've honed on that stone. Maybe because of the harder Swedish steel? I'll have to play with it to see if I can smooth it out some. Ah, the fun of straights...

took another Monday off. continuing to break in the Semogue knot i put in the rubberset. the stone which I will call 'walk in the clouds' will arrive today ahead of schedule which pleases me highly. continuing with cross comparing finishes....but believe my mind is made up. as with most things in life........compromises.
