5/8" Heljestrand rattler. Just got this one in recently, honed finishing on the standard Nakayama, which went very quickly because of the microscopic bevel (barely an exaggeration), and found it to be a truly superb shaver. As an aside, it has a faint bronze colored blush of patina in a few places, which I've noticed seems to correlate with excellently-performing razors.

This morning was a shave with my first real SR, a Titan ACRM-2 T.H.60 Dutch point 6/8 in Madagascan mahogany scales, finished and maintained on diamond pasted balsa. Oh, what a lovely shave!
JMP with an antique Belgian Blue Whetstone edge…absolute excellence to great effect!

For this evening's shave I chose a Titan ACRO T.H-70 finished and maintained on diamond pasted balsa. Three lovely passes; WTG, XTG and XTG in the opposite direction. This is my normal travel SR so it doesn't get used as often it would like to be.

Ditched the scuttle today to see if I could do with face lathering off the puck. Not sure if I'll have a place for my beloved ceramic (breakable) scuttle on the boat. Good to know that I am capable of making a good, rich face lather.
And yes, in know there are good unbreakable scuttles, but part of this move is to simplify...
