Frederick Reynolds "The Celebrated." Just got this in the mail yesterday and by golly it actually was shave ready - a nice DFS with no cuts or weepers. Scales are thin surfboard bone.
Dainty thing - smaller than 5/8. Stamped as "hollow ground," but it almost looks wedge-ish to me.

Ohsho | Simpson Emperor 3 Two-Band Silvertip | PannaCrema Nuàvia Rossa — this turned out to be a pleasing razor to use. Good size for me (smallish), good grip.

It looks like Jamie @Mr Bedlington and I are on the Iwasaki train today, and it’s a good place to be. Iwasaki Swedish steel, soap was ABC Red Sandolo (Thans Brad !) lathered with a lime Paladin Chief, and Floris Santal finished up the month of January.

A new twist on the "Which razor today?" game.
SWMBO, opened the magic box of razors, ran her hand through the air over all the available options, and declared that "this one spoke to me". Can't argue with that, so the MK 22 it is today and tomorrow. We'll see if this becomes a regular razor selection method...

I’ve just received this new stone from the UK. It was sold as a Llynn Idwal but the jury is still out. Could be a Grecian. Whatever it is, it put a very nice edge on the Bengall. It seems to be something special.

Only one way to find out, switch the hones for each razor. Do it for the science.
Now is the time to drop a hint that there was always one razor you never could find (make sure it's something you don't have but comes up regularly on eBay) but you'd love one. She'll do a quick search, find one immediately and buy it before the unicorn is gone.

This Kropp is one of my favorite razors. Took an excellent edge that didn't disappoint last night. Perfect shave on 6 days growth with rather poor prep.

They are Black & White horn, scale design G... I have another one comming soon... similar build with MOP scales and satin finish. Should be ready in the next few weeks...
