Beautiful straights. Ralf Aust was my very first SR that I learned with probably 8 years ago. Really great shaves with mine. I passed it along to another newbie in the Market threads. Hopefully, he is still enjoying it.

I personally think Aust makes wonderful, no nonsense straights.

All this shavette talk got me in the mood...
... to use my 1/2 DE Focus AL Slim today, with the intent to then put it into deep storage.

Half of a well used Kai delivered yet another fine shave, so the Focus defended its turf and is back in the cabinet.

I bought this shavette to make me a better SR shaver. Instead, my SRs have definitely improved my technique with the shavette.

I didn't get my shavettes to try and make me a better traditional SR shaver but you are correct. Traditional SR's improve your shavette technique.
