Got a bit of a modern thing going on tonight...
With the discussion about Filarmonicas on a separate thread, I just had to use my not super pristine second generation Filarmonica 12 with a @Doc226 edge. Great little shaver!
First shave with my new Greaves near wedge with the warped blade. Left a bit to be desired. Only SAS after 3 passes. The blade felt sharp but harsh, as if I had skipped the whole balsa progression. Only good news is that the harsh feel caused me to go really light on the pressure, so no after shave irritation. So will try some more honing.

2 razor shave, 5 days growth. Got to use my new Sebum Lime. Perfect shave.
Zero feedback from alum block. Not sure if I am imagining things but the Yasuki finished on the karasu shaved even better today than last time. Maybe better prep, maybe more stropping

6/8 Filarmonica 13 Sub Cero out for it’s maiden voyage after being treated to one of my favorite Jnats. Soap and AS were Floris 89, lathered with a Tulip 3 two band. This one will make a nice pairing with my 14 Sub Cero. The boxes are originals for those who are interested. I’ll try to throw a box in the image or post when I post Fillys.
