Barcelona, Spain for the Filarmonica 12 and the Myrsol Blue AS,
Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal for the Semogue 2015 HD, and
Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain for the LEA shave cream

BTW, if you have never tried LEA, you should - great, inexpensive, mildly scented cream!

For today’s shave, I used these newly restored Dubl Duck and John Jay razors, with 12k->ark and Nakayama edges respectively. Also had my Feather AC out for reference. Great shavers, and I’ll probably put one of them on my Etsy!

Nice 4 Prima Silver Steel, @taskind - I like the single shoulder! Too bad Dovo doesn't make this style blade in 6/8 inch. Did you buy the razor new, and how do you like it?

I should add that I have had good experience buying new Dovos recently.

I bought this razor 4 years ago or may be more. This razor shaves wonderfull. I generally prefer 6/8 and 7/8 razors but this feels great.

This Imperial is quite possibly my sharpest edge, the bevel angle is about 15 degrees. Today I had a bit too much water in the SOC - kicked up a fine lather quickly, but perhaps a little too wet. Will take another crack at this brush/cream combo tomorrow with a different SR.

What? You've never used one of them???? That's an FW Devoe & Co. Gem 80! Part of a lot purchase of brushes. Pretty sure it's a stencil brush. Sporting no less than a 28 mm. Maggard two band. It's actually pretty sweet! Two face passes and a third for the head tonight, and talk about holding some warm water...
