Probably a wise choice. Did not see much mention of the 50's or the Berkeley, but they might be a tad on the small side compared to using a Chubby 2.

Duke 3 is my sweet spot. Nice handle that's not too small, not a lather hog, good backbone. Seems to dry in 24 hours, but it is a Manchurian FWIW.
Daily and quick drying = synthetic. I have one and use it for travel.
Duke 2 or 3. Duke 2 will use less soap and dry faster.
I would recommend picking up the Classic 2 as a daily driver if you are a face latherer, seriously underrated brush IMO. Not sure if this will dry any faster than the Chubby though, but if you used this alternately with your Chubby that would be quite a nice rotation.
