It looks as though I will have a one day lay over in New Delhi, India in a few weeks, does anyone have any suggestions as to what creams, soaps, etc. I should try to look for?

Good list. Stock up on the Godrej cream and razor blades. They are dirt cheap there.

If you havent been to Delhi before - brace yourself for the culture shock.
Personally I quite enjoy my stays there- but getting around - and trying to shop can be a challenge in itself.
Forget the shopping centres for finding shave essentials - I found only the usual "shave in a can" brands - you need to brave the less genteal market areas.

I just wanted to reiterate the sentiment that you should get as many of the shaving rounds as possible. They are probably the best bang-for-your-buck product available. I think they'll cost you like 60 cents American, and they are pretty prized here on the boards. If you don't like them, there are plenty of people on the boards willing to take them off your hands.
Bring back lots of Biotique Bio Palmyra Shaving Cream, please.
