What should I do?

I have a rubberset handle that I picked up to restore. I have got the old knot out and will be replacing it with a Golden Nib one. What I am wondering is what should I do with the handle as it was unfinished when I got it so I will probably give it a light sanding and not sure if I should stain, lacquer, or just seal?

SWMBO said I must sell it after I am done since I already have 2 brushes and I don't need a third. I may end up giving it as a Christmas gift though :biggrin1:

The photo is not perfectly clear..but I would likely sand that one with several grades of sandpaper. It looks a bit plain to me, so I would likely stain it then finish it with a good quality polysealer.

The top of that looks to be hard rubber. I would use some Flitz or other low abrasive polish on that.

Yeah my flash decided to die on my camera. If I can find my backup one I will try and get a better picture. The handle is just plain will definitely need to be spruced up somehow.
