2 pass, no touch ups

I thought I would try the Feather Pro Super with the Kai Kasho Woody. I did not mind the extra blade exposure but the blade was just too rough (non-smooth) for me. After a few shave strokes, I switched to the Kai Captain Blade for the rest of the shave.

Very Nice Three Pass with a KAI Clone (I think)
I very much like the Head geometry and the scalloping on the sides.
Overall a really great shave.

Pretty warm this evening so I went with something menthol. The shave helped me relax I was a bit uptight today.

I’ve read that, too. When I bought one, the name (one of many) was “Mythus” and, unlike a Kai Luffy, not only was commercially available, it was available in orange.

I’ve also read it has more blade exposure than a Feather Artist Club SS barber razor, but I’ve never held a Feather brand barber razor much less crammed a blade up in one.

Thank you. I tried googling the Kai Luffy and am seeing what you’re saying. Some of the Kai Luffy handles remind me of the Kai Captain Salon Select Japan Style barber razor. Despite not having orange scales, I think it may be prettier than the knockoff Mythus barber razor.

A lovely shave from the SS. Because it is the entry level Artist Club it is often passed by for something more 'sexy'. This is unfair.....it gives excellent shaves and I still remember the butchery it is capable of when I first started!

I could have left it at DFS but cleaned up a bit with the TREET.
