What shave equipment did you buy today

I was fortunate to receive this custom shave bowl and brush for my birthday. They were made by Mugseco, an Italian artisan. The brush is a 26mm High Mountain Silvertip. The finish and glazing is much nicer than captured in the pictures

Damn-it...again...I just 'pulled-the-trigger' for some AS on eBay...and I promised myself I wouldn't be tempted.

I think Ebay and others platforms of the like...'pull you in'...now, I'm doomed (perhaps), from Acquisition Disorders, because at times..."Resistance is futile".

Other than that, I'm waiting on a Vintage 12½oz glass bottle ("seal still intact, missing front label, has been opened, but still smells lovely"...9in tall), of Pinuad French Bouquet AS (needs a very 'delicate' cleaning).

...after opening the box I received, I noticed that this bottle (9in Tall & 2½ in Wide), is very unique in that along the front (because of the 'profile' pic below...you have to look close), the glass blower inserted three (3), 'ribs' to facilitate ease of
handling and lessen chance of breakage.

Also, upon first use, I found this AS to have a masculine, fresh scent, woody, aromatic, soft floral (rose I believe), with hints of powder. Scent longivity for this vintage AS is around 2hrs. sup:

I placed an order for the Henson AL13 medium from Maggard. I should have it next week. I thought I’d see what the Henson was all about while I’m in my RAD phase.

It was on my bucket list for quite a while. Yesterday I had a business meeting in London and decided to use the opprotunity to arrive a little bit early to visit all main shaving stores and buy something at: Dr. Harris, Geo F Trumper, TOBS, and Truefitt & Hill.
It was a wonderful experience and I was really amazed by how many people young and old were buying brushes, soaps and aftershaves in the middle of a working day in every store.
As you can see, Geo F Trumper was the most generous for samples :biggrin1:
Unfortunately will store everything for the next 3-4 months as I need to finish first what I'm using at the moment.

Yes, the "ribs" were a feature of the glass bottles, can't remember if the plastic bottles are the same.

These bottles are getting harder to find, though I have somehow managed to acquire three.

Nice catch. 👍🏻
