Definitely better - the underside of the PAL was gross and you couldn't see the writing (plus there was a hunk of old hair - so much that if you look at one picture closely you can see where it lifted the blade up and over the blade guard) but it came out nice - might give it another soak and touch up tomorrow

Now I feel like I need to get a cigar to use the Valet utility knife properly

I ordered a custom Simpson Chubby 2 Silvertip yesterday. It was insanely expensive for a brush, but I have wanted one for a long time and the right handle came up, so I pulled the trigger. It will be my last brush for a long time.
