1968 Slim Adjustable (7) / IP (22)
A 72 hour growth almost to the hour. I need a shave.
Cranked up the Slim to 7, never used it at this setting. Slapped in my war-weary but still seemingly fine I.P and face lathered a generous amount of Arko! with my old faithful 'bay £3 some-kind of-hair Chinese 'homage' to what appears to be an old Ever-Ready brush. Works perfectly, good backbone and you can really do that brisk circular motion to exfoliate the skin and raise the whiskers with it. It also paints well and is precise.
A nice 3 passer, I am really getting to appreciate the Slims' balance and nice heft - perfect for me at 72gm - although the longer handle took some getting used to. I'm a short handle guy. This however is beautifully deft on the face, and you can do those long elegant
sweeps in the final ATG/SN pass.
To be honest I was fine after 2 passes, the 3rd was habit, and OCD.
BBS. Best shave so far from my last ever production N4. I think I will use setting 7 as default.
