Interesting how does it look like and whats the main difference? Does it have a larger blade gap? I.e is it more efficient?

It may be just me, but I always felt the Shovelhead are far to loud and distracting. The large empty interior emits a loud empty echo. The British seem to really like to heavily plate their razors. I like the feel of the heavier razor and the plating seems to dampen that hollow sound. To me it’s just nicer to shave with.
