They are the best blade that I can get locally. Nice and smooth, but honestly I prefer Gillette platinum.

Henson AL13 head on an Edwin Jagger DE89 handle

The Henson razor is a fantastic razor. But it's too light and long for my liking. Paired with the Edwin Jagger DE89 handle it makes it shorter and heavier which I really like. The shave felt a lot different then previously. Funny how length and weight of the handle totally changes the overall feel of the shave. The shave felt even better than when using the original handle.

The shave with razor paired with this continuing blade test was still ok for 3passes without any issues but can feel the blade is not as good. Can feel some chattering.

Baili BD179 + 3rd use Super-Max SS Bola for a 3 pass, BBS finish without nicks and iritation.
Henson medium with a Wizamet on a bed of paa cube/stirling september autumn glory finished with some needed weleda balm.
For a first time shave not a bad one but some irritation in the neck collar band and I needed alumn to stop some nicks I would not make this medium agressive or mild there is still a lot of blade feedback. Easy shaver time will tell how it evolves

This has been my best shave so far. 0 irritation, the Voskhod was very smooth and that balm... I've been singing Proraso white's praises for a while but this Zingari balm is most excellent. Feels even better than Proraso white and it smells pretty good.
On a side note: I shaved with Geo F. Trumpers' Sandalwood cream yesterday and found it smelled like an ashtray. The performance of the cream was very nice but that scent...
Not sure if this is typical for Sandalwood soaps/creams. I've tried TOBS before but found that waaaay too "poudery/talkish."

FaTip Piccolo Gentile and a fresh Astra SS. First shave with an Astra SS and an excellent first shave, sharp and smooth and no irritation or alum feedback.
