My birth year razor, the '53 Gillette Super Speed, chambered with a Feather blade. Since I don't use the SS very often, I'm not sure how many shaves the blade had on it -- 2 or 3, I guess. A good shave on a 36-hour beard.

'46 Gillette Aristocrat / vintage '69 carbon Gillette Thin Blade (4) / Barrister and Mann Seville / OS splash A little rushed, I went for an "autopilot shave" -- synth brush, good soap, and a razor that always gives me an excellent no-nick shave. The blade was the only outlier--the first shave was harsh (w/pre-war Tech), but gave 2 great shaves with a Fatboy and now the Aristocrat--I think I'll see how many shaves I can get out of it.
