I figured most in the trenches couldn’t enjoy a hot shave so I tried my first cold water shave, very refreshing, and best shave with an Old Type. Sitting around the fire pit last night, the discussion came around to flying and someone asked me if I knew anyone that had ejected. “I know several,” I said staring into the fire, “but I know more people who’ve died in airplanes than have successfully ejected from them.“ So to those that came before, and those that stand the watch, I honor and thank you this Memorial Day.
