VDH Shave Butter
After washing my beard with CeraVe, I rinse and add a thin layer of very slick VDH Shave Butter. I like using super slicks such as Cremo, Trader Joe's Cream Shave and VDH Shave Butter as pre shaves to help razor glide.

For the last few years, I've been using grapeseed/Abyssinian mix as pre shave oil.
This winter, I picked up a bottle of sweet almond oil and it is working great! Very smooth to apply, absorbs into the skin nicely and leaves the skin supple, which is what using a pre shave oil should achieve.
Very happy with the results!!
