Yeah, he's pretty amazing, isn't he? I had the opportunity to meet him at NAMM in Nashville several years ago. A very humble and entertaining guy. Very approachable. I was lucky enough to engage with him at a private event after NAMM as well. Very, very cool experience to talk guitars and gear with him. If only for a few minutes.Greg Koch is not only one of the best guitarists around, he's also hilarious.
I've had the pleasure of hearing the Koch-Marshall Trio live and meeting him.
Me: "Hey, Greg, great to meet you. I love your work. You know, you've inspired me to do something."
Greg: "What's that?"
Me: "Quit playing guitar."
He laughed.
