What's new

what penhaligons scent is Floris 89 closest to?

I am curious what the closest scent penhaligons makes that Flori 89 and 127 is closestt to in type of scent or scent. Someone told me Hammam Bouquet was but it is the only pen fragrence I dont car for so far so I wanted to see if that was correct.

It's really unique. It's like asking which which item on the Denny's menu most tastes like a Big Mac.

Still, in terms of "feel," I'd say that Blenheim is most similar to 89. Both exude sophistication and complexity. This is just a feeling, impression and confidence I get from wearing either.

From a chemical composition and breakdown of basenotes, I'm sure they're not the same. Not sweet or gourmands, either scent. Slight citrus. But really, they're two unique scents.

this is interesting. I'm new to Pen's fragrances. I'm going to get the sampler to get introduced to them... can any of you guys recommend a source for the sampler?

127 is very similar to Castile, but I think 127 is better

89 might be closest to Racquets, but it's not as floral or refined.

Not is Penhaligons, but today i received a sample of CASTLE FORBES LONACH,and have a great vibe like 89

Paul, if you place an order with Vintage Blades and let Jim know what you're interested in trying, he can probably help.

I don't have all the Penhaligon's scents, but I do have Hammam, and can tell you it's not much like 89 or 127 so don't worry.
