Your Semogue brush is gorgeous! I love the new handle.
I use a salsa bowl that I got a Walmart. The bottom of it says HS Inc. 1006. WM has now replaced them with a thinner, cheap quality store brand version, but HS Inc. is a well known brand of supplier to restaurants and the like and available online all over, be it for much more than the $1.50 they were at WM ! It's made of polypropelyene and has marbled exterior with 4 feet, all of which gives you great grip.

I have a blue salsa bowl I got from WM that I use as part of my travel kit--these actually work quite well!

I haven't shaved this week as I was under the weather. But today I got a shave in, & used my Captain's Choice Copper Lather bowl.

Actually, there are two new beautiful colors, Cobalt and Gunmetal, coming in October, with a slight design upgrade - see news straight from the source
…An important design element is lowering the sides so that the brush does not knock against it. When you lower the sides the lather will go right up and over the side unless... it has a nice concave profile to it. Then the lather curls right back inside where it belongs…
