Long shot I know, but I got an unfinished blank in a ebay lot. I wonder if it is shaped like anything you would know by looking. I want to send it out to be finished and it may help to know what it is. hot stamped and unhardened. no makers mark. No idea but love the shape.
French blade. Grelot perhaps? Thats about I can fathom a guess at with the French tip and general overall grind.
That's a great looking blade.
