I started with creams rather than hard soap and the first one I finished was Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood.
Same here. And I have not finished just one! Absolutely fabulous cream in all respects for me.
Mine would have been the blue Wilkinson Sword bowl back in the early '80s. It was pretty much all that the local stores carried. I can't even remember if they stocked Williams. If they did, I'm pretty sure that I would remember using it as well.
I am almost (ALMOST) embarrassed to say I don't quite remember. Am I alone in this?

I started in Nov. 2020; hasn't happened yet. I have given some away to get a few guys started, though.
Same here... I just started on Feb. 15th.... I'm a long way from finishing a container of soap. When I bought my current supply (6 containers: two of them being duplicates) I was guessing they'd last me two years. I have no idea how accurate my projections will turn out to be. I ordered 4 of them from Executive Shaving Co. in Scotland and it made sense to get duplicates because I was pretty sure I'd like them and I wanted to save on shipping costs. Thankfully, I love them both, so that part worked out. (Acca Kappa Barbershop and ESC Citrus Kiss)
Finished quite a few, including Yardley's, Trumper Rose tallow, Pen's EF and quite a number of GD soaps - actually every GD soap I had was finished by myself, last one was AMARE. Too many to remember all the brands and names.
If memory serves me right it was Cella.... or maybe Proraso Green.

Truly a soap? B&M Latha Limon. Before that was a couple of tubes of Nivea cream if I can include “tube soap.”

A tub of Proraso Green.
DRH windsor. In 2015. Still have and use the same dark bowl daily, it currently has DRH Almond in it and looks it’s age. I think I’ve polished off 6 or 7 pucks in there.
