I have not had an issue with rust but I can see that.It is, as long as you force a patina on the blade when you get it. otherwise it tends to rust in a sweaty summer pocket.

A great one! I’m always astounded that they even relieved the FRN scales to shave off some weight. The slimmest most lightweight knife I have is the Benchmade Bugout. Disappears in the pocket. Incredibly light and slim. Totally rugged and useable within reason. I mean I wouldn’t go prying open a crate with the thing.
Blade length: 3.24”
Blade thickness: 0.09'' | 2.29mm
Under 2 ounces total weight.
They make a Bugout Mini if that blade is too long. 2.82” / 1.5 ounce.
Wasn’t there a FRN Centofante as well? Must be the lightest version of them all?Three that come to mind for me are:
Spyderco Centofante 3 Centofante™ 3 Carbon Fiber CPM CRU-WEAR - Spyderco, Inc. - https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details/C66CFP3/2573

The Centofante 3 has a back lock and this version is an Exclusive version for a distributor. (available everywhere) The Caly 3.5 has a back lock and is a standard Spyderco model with a San-Mai blade. The UKPK is a non-locking slip joint and Exclusive by Heinnie Haynes.

The Caly 3.5 and UKPK are the same width of a ball-end Tech's handle diameter, the Centofante 3 is slimmer.

I haven't followed the different versions of the Centofante's so I didn't know what's currently available but yes, there is a standard model made of FRN. Interestingly, the FRN version and the carbon fiber version weigh the same at 2.5oz/71g.Wasn’t there a FRN Centofante as well? Must be the lightest version of them all?
