What is 2 band, 3 band in a brush

I have had both and cannot really tell the difference. Some vendors charge more for 3 bands because they are not common.

The term relates to how many layers of color the brush has.

I have used both and I think that the 2 band brushes are a little stiffer and have a little more scritch in the tips.
