Flaps on the spring and a blue cardboard box= E-2
You can open it for cleaning, shaves more aggressively than later models
Far as I know, all of the E's handles are catalin (and butterscotch at that) and I think this one is plastic. I believe I can see the seam running down the middle, but maybe I'm just imagining that. Any razor can go into any case, but it's got those flaps. If it is the molded plastic handle, then I'm thinking it might be a transitional model - using up parts from the E series while using the new plastic handle.
Just guessing.

If it is a transition model, can it be dated more or less ?
Apparently the Es were made from 1935-1945, with the Gs made from 1946-1955, so I'd guess a transition model would be most likely from the 1945/46 period - perhaps early post-war manufacturing using up stock of older heads?

It was also when the Company was sold by Magazine Repeating Razor Co. to EverSharp Inc., This question had been raised ~6 months ago by someone who had a Canadian made Schick Injector with a similar characteristic; G head & E Bakelite Carmel Handle; http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showth...ctor-Is-This?highlight=identify+this+injector would your Injector be Canadian made?
And here's one I just found

It's made in Canada, has an E head with flaps on the spring and irregular striations on the guard bar, but a G5 turquoise handle.
